Your responsibilities with us:

  • Purchasing agricultural commodities such as grain and oilseeds, taking market and price trends into account
  • Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers
  • Analyzing market developments and identifying procurement risks and opportunities
  • Maintaining and expanding long-term supplier relationships
  • Preparing demand plans and developing purchasing strategies
  • Close collaboration with colleagues in scheduling and documentation
  • Supporting quality assurance and quality control of raw materials
  • A varied role that includes both field work and office work

    What you bring with you:

    • Completed training in agriculture or a comparable qualification
    • Ideally, experience in purchasing or sales of agricultural commodities
    • Willingness to travel
    • Strong understanding of markets, price trends, and figures
    • Independent, structured way of working and a high level of initiative
    • Confident with MS Office and ideally with ERP systems
    • Strong communication skills and negotiating ability
    • Fluent in Czech and good German skills
